Indian software services company claims “better, faster and cheaper” advantage

Infosys says that “Customers around the world have discovered our business model and are forcing legacy providers to provide the value that we do. That is why they are also coming to India.” “We deliver services “better, faster and cheaper”.
Infosys, the second biggest IT company in India has posted excellent numbers for Jul-Sep 05. Infosys currently has 46100 employees and its expected revenue for the current year is $2.12 billion.

Infosys has “Global Centers” in India, China and Czech Republic and “Proximity Centers” in every major market in the world. It currently has 303 employees in China but the planned capacity is 10,000 people or more.

Infosys’Â outlook of outsourcing to Indian companies in particular: Very strong. All data points positive: volume growth, types of relationships, large deals coming to Indian companies, growth of the verticals.
