VA Software, the people behind SourceForge.net, have released a free, 15 user full-featured downloadable version of SourceForge Enterprise Edition . The downloadable file is packaged together with Subversion and CVS in a VMware image that’s easy to install and deploy.
Built on the Java 2 Enterprise Edition J2EE platform, SFEE can be used to track software issues, collaborate with offsite development teams, provides pre-built integration with CVS, Perforce, and Subversion, provides workflows for defect tracking and provides clear visibility into project status and statistics together with full drill-down capability. You can also access project documentation and information in a central repository.
A 15 user free and forever license makes this version a great option to small development teams. The system requirements are 3GB of disk space, 1GB of RAM, Windows XP/2003 or Linux Operating System, P4 1.5GHz or equivalent and access to a standards-compliant browser.
