How is the Indian IT industry tackling economic uncertainties?

Nasscom Natarajan IT Slowdown SessionIn this session Dr. Ganesh Natarajan looks at growth trends in Indian IT. He talks of how entry into new verticals and end to end service is reducing Indian IT’s dependency on a few market segments. He talks at length on how the slowdown in the economy will affect the IT industry and how companies are countering the slowdown.

He then touches on how IT is being taken to smaller towns in India and on Nasscom’s plans for making India’s young talent base “employable”. Finally he looks into the future and provides his estimates for IT growth in India and shares his thoughts on which segments will drive the growth.

Dr. Natarajan is the Chairman of NASSCOM, India’s leading association for IT and Business Process Outsourcing. He is also the Global CEO of Zensar Technologies Limited.
