IBM backs PHP. At Java's expense? PDF Print

A CNET report says that IBM is backing PHP for web development. While the official word is that IBM will stay committed to Java, the report also quotes executives who say  that this move reflects IBM's disillusionment with the Java standardization process and the industry's inability to make Java very easy to use.

Canoo has published an IDE integration plug-in for IntelliJ IDEA and UltraLightClient. This IDE integration plug-in simplifies Rich Internet Application (RIA) development with UltraLightClient (ULC) in IntelliJ's development environment. The free plug-in provides Run/Debug integration for ULC applications and a ULC library wizard.
