Sys-Con has added 60 new names in its poll for the top 20 people in software. Although they might have missed out many people you think have made a significant contribution to software, this still is a good compilation of top software people from across the globe.

Rediff.com has started a new series of articles about IT companies that innovate. It begin with "Two Words that Doubting Thomases rarely use in the same sentence are 'India' and 'innovation.'"... however what follows is a lot more encouraging for IT innovators.
