IndicThreads >> Any plans for further promoting JBoss in India ?
Anil Saldhana >> We view India as a strategic region in APAC. We are opening a JBoss center in Bangalore in the next few days. This is to provide quality support and assistance to all customers in the APAC region. When we say we will provide 24/7 support wherever you are, we mean it.

Comment by Guest on 2005-02-03 17:19:27 What does Jonas? Just read that JOnAS also has got J2EE 1.4 certified. Is JBoss light years ahead of Jonas too? | Comment by Guest on 2005-02-03 19:39:05 I would definitely like to see the awarness growing in India about open source. There are very less people in India who know about open sorce community. Nevertheless India is hub of IT service center and hence can prove major market for JBoss. All the best. | Comment by Guest on 2005-02-03 22:49:18 The days of JBoss being #1 are numbered. Jonas and then Geronimo will take over. The JBoss folks haven't learned that being assholes to your customers will make your customers look for something better. | Comment by Guest on 2005-02-04 12:17:52 I agree with the previous comment regarding the Jboss Group. In due time it will rise to it's own level of incompetence. Many Jboss users, including corporate customers, are voicing concern over the arrogance displayed by the Jboss Group, especially that of it's CEO. In addition to arrogance toward its customers, the term arrogance rises to new levels within the confines of the Jboss partner program. Consistently spreading so much bad will is bound to backfire sooner or later. | Comment by Guest on 2005-02-04 18:28:49 Naming others that write articles on open source 'PIGS' in public doesn't do Fleury's reputation any good. Also the arrogance of Gavin King (just look at how he does presentations and answers on the Hibernate forum's lately) makes him look like a little child that found it's toy. | Comment by Guest on 2005-02-10 18:24:08 All your base are belong to us. | Comment by Guest on 2005-02-10 22:42:27 | Comment by Guest on 2005-04-11 06:42:25 As somebody said JBoss is two things - good applicationn server and very bad company. Marc is finally realizing the market requirement and starting office in India. He is the one who once commented on competition for providing "cheap technical support from India". We will see how cheap THEY will be from India. | Comment by Noname on 2005-05-23 16:10:37 You can get trained on JBoss technology in India too. Visit http://www.softprosys.com/jboss.htm JBoss Training, India | SoftPro JBoss Authorized Service Partner | Comment by Noname on 2005-05-20 10:36:14 Office in India is to cater to customers in the APAC region. 24/7 Support model. |
