Apache Struts is unbelievably popular in India and a large number of J2EE developers use the framework. For quite some time, version 1.1 was the Struts release being used and while other frameworks like WebWork and Spring are moving rapidly, Struts seemed to have stagnated a bit.

Finally the new version, version 1.2.2 has been released. A number of things seem to have changed. So do have a look at what the *NEW Struts offers as in all probability, your next web app will be using Struts.
