On Sept 21, open Source firm JBoss become a member of Eclipse Foundation and will contribute code to the J2EE Standard Tools Project. This historic decision was accompanied by the release of JBoss Application Server 4.0, which is recently certified for J2EE. This indicates that the company is expanding its open-source presence, as well as becoming more of a contributor to the open-source community.
