While JBoss is widely popular for its Application server, it now plans to make its entry into enterprise middleware stack and services framework. It also plans to extend its services to other opensource Organizations through the JBoss Open Source Federation.

The JBoss Open Source Federation will provide access to value-added services, technology infrastructure and marketing support for open source projects that integrate with the JBoss Enterprise Middleware System (JEMS).
