Software testing is integral to the software development process and while developer tools strive to automate and simplify the development process, the tester community is working at better ways to find bugs and automate the testing process.

This interview with Danny Faught looks at the evolution and the changing nature of software testing and the way to approach testing and test automation. Danny talks about the tools that can simplify testing and yet he says that "Test automation requires programming skills. Plain and simple, no way around it. No tool can get around that."

"Can automated testing replace all manual testing?" The answer is "No"
