Coverity, makers of a source code analysis solution, today announced preliminary findings showing that open source developers fixed a software defect every six minutes in the week following Coverity’s analysis that established a baseline metric for software quality.

Open Source Developers Conference 2005 will be held at the Caulfield Campus of Monash University in Melbourne, 5-7th December,2005.

Python will be one of the topics for discussion at the conference.
