Packt recently announced the Open Source CMS Award. The Award is designed to encourage, support, recognize and reward an Open Source CMS selected by a panel of judges and visitors to PacktPub website.

Packt is one of the active contributors for the growth of open source; Packt has been paying open source projects a percentage of its book sales for the last two years. “Packt subscribes to the belief that Open Source should be promoted, supported, and sustained whenever and however possible” says Carvill.
