Oracle OpenWorld 2005 (17-22 Sep 2005)

Oracle has announced that it will offer industry-focused sessions at Oracle OpenWorld San Francisco, Oracle’s global business and technology conference to be held September 17 – 22, 2005, at Moscone Center. This year’s event will highlight 18 key industries, offering attendees the opportunity to see real-world deployments of Oracle technology and applications in specific industries.

The industry sessions at Oracle OpenWorld will help attendees understand how they can better solve business problems specific to their market. The sessions will also highlight how organizations are using business intelligence, collaboration, integration, grid computing and security technologies to meet industry-specific demands.

BEAWorld 2005 (27-29 Sep 2005)

BEAWorld is scheduled to kick off with the first of six planned worldwide events on Sept. 27 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in the heart of the Silicon Valley. BEAWorld 2005 marks the 10-year anniversary of the company with attendance expected to exceed 2,000 users, partners, prospects, media, financial and industry analysts from the world’s most influential companies.

This year’s “Start Thinking liquid” theme is based on the company’s ongoing strategy for achieving simplicity and fluidity in enterprise computing. The concept encapsulates the company’s vision for creating liquid assets from the frozen, hardwired assets in today’s IT environment. By “unfreezing” assets, IT can move beyond the business silos and vertically integrated “software stacks” of old to a new world order based on horizontally integrated “Service Networks” aimed at helping improve enterprise productivity.

BEAWorld 2005 features the company’s newest BEA WebLogic(R) 9.0, JRockit(TM) 5.0 and BEA AquaLogic(TM) product families and nearly 100 scheduled breakout sessions created for developers, architects, CIOs, CTOs and IT managers who are tasked with developing next-generation Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA). Many sessions are scheduled to be hosted by BEA customers and partners.
